past concerns and creations 

o GT Bias logic allowed Gas turbines to be limited if lower loads were not possible, pushing other units lower in megawatts to make up difference in increased load from unit with issue that is limited/ unable to reach eco min

o Cooling tower thaw : Thawed cooling tower cells by reducing fan speed one cell at a time to allow drift to thaw out cell, cycling thru all fans. Would continue running in steady run until premissives were lost, or operator turned continuous run option off

o Gas leak check SLC: allows operators to use buttons to allow for opening of the GT gas valves at purge speed for leak checks (this took away all the force points needed to do this)

o Duct burner Auto Start: control loop reset, then fired each unit’s duct burners according to duct burner hours and megawatt setpoint from grid / actual megawatt, offset

o Evap cooler Auto Start: sub loop controller designed to auto start evap pump if there is no fault and with operator’s time delay between start setpoint

o Bypass logic: created logic to assist in coupling a Unit and de coupling a unit, transfer to new setpoints and tracking pressure on headers for equalizing an oncoming unit

o Online steam cooling: created and implemented logic for siemens steam turbine force cooling procedure, allow operator to lower main steam temperature setpoints to achieve siemens temperature rate of change during steam cooling

o Review, respond, implement siemens response: through commissioning and siemens warranty claim, was relied upon to write up warranty claims, once answered by siemens, i reviewed, respond, then if adequate implement
